When and where is the big red race?
The Big Red Race will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the St Edward School Parking Lot. 4343 West Sunnyside Chicago, IL 60630.
The race starts promptly at 4:30 PM.
Can I bring my dog, bike, skates or stroller?
Dogs, skates and bikes will not be allowed to participate in this event. Strollers are fine, but will be placed toward the end of the start line corral.
What does "Fun Run" mean?
Well, first of all, it means that you should have a good time. It also means that we will not be closing streets, getting permits or having a Ponch & John motorcycle escort. We will have race helpers at major cross streets, but there may be a need to wait for traffic, too.
How can I advertise my business?
As an advertiser, your ad will be seen by hundreds of loyal St Edward alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends. Check out the sponsorship tab for more information on digital ads. We are also looking for day-of-event in-kind donors as well.
What's the donation going toward and is it tax deductible?
All donations are tax deductible.
Is St. Edward School a non-profit organization?
Yes. St. Edward School is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as an organization described in 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This means that the donors may deduct charitable contributions to St. Ed's for federal income and estate tax purposes.
